Freshfields has announced that M&A lawyer Keith Hallam has joined its New York office.

Keith Hallam specialises in M&A transactions. His practice covers public and private mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, joint ventures, strategic investments, structured equity and cross-border transactions. He also advises clients on activist defence and shareholder engagement matters, and has represented private equity sponsors, corporations and investors on landmark transactions.

Prior to joining Freshfields, he was at White & Case. Before that, he spent years at Cravath Swaine & Moore.
