K&L Gates Recruits Nine-Person IP Team in Munich

K&L Gates has announced the addition of a nine-person intellectual property team to its Munich office.

 

Headed by partners Christian Wende and Markus Eustermann, the team comprises patent attorneys, trainees and technical specialists. Its practice covers patent prosecution, patent litigation, patent portfolio management and cross-technology strategic advisory, and it handles proceedings before the Unified Patent Court.

 

Christian Wende focuses on patents, trademarks, industrial designs and utility models, with a particular focus on the medtech and automotive sectors. Markus Eustermann specialises in patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings and patent litigation across cutting-edge areas including medical devices, automotive technology, software inventions and nanotechnology.

 

Prior to joining K&L Gates, all members of the team worked at IP boutique Wende IP.
