Retail giant Walmart has named Erin Nealy Cox as its new chief legal officer.
During her tenure at Kirkland & Ellis spanning over four and a half years, she served as a partner focusing on government, regulatory and internal investigations. She also held key roles including US Attorney for the Northern District of Texas and head of the incident response unit at Stroz Friedberg.
Upon taking office, Erin Nealy Cox will lead Walmart’s global governance division, overseeing compliance, corporate governance, risk management and other core legal functions.
