Jones Day has appointed Christine Tran, a specialist in class action defence from Herbert Smith Freehills’ Sydney office, to strengthen its local disputes team.

Boasting over 17 years of experience in commercial litigation, Christine Tran is among the few practitioners in Australia with trial experience in both shareholder and product liability class actions. She once led the defence team and secured a landmark victory in Australia’s first shareholder class action won by the defendant.

She practiced at Herbert Smith Freehills prior to joining Jones Day.
