Paul Hastings has recruited prominent dealmaker Eric Schiele from Kirkland & Ellis to its New York office as global co-chair of the M&A practice.

Eric Schiele has advised on transactions worth a total of $1.2 trillion and handled numerous landmark global M&A deals, such as AB InBev’ s acquisition of SABMiller and Mars’ purchase of Kellanova.

With nearly 25 years of professional experience, Eric Schiele spent almost two decades at Cravath Swaine & Moore earlier in his career before moving to Kirkland & Ellis in 2018. He will lead the M&A team alongside Eduardo Gallardo.
