UK law firm Freshfields has recruited two partners, Calise Cheng and Heather Brookfield, in Silicon Valley to further expand its West Coast team.

Calise Cheng specializes in capital markets and has led IPOs, direct listings and other transactions for numerous tech companies. She previously worked at Cooley and started her career at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

Heather Brookfield focuses on compensation and employee benefits, and regularly advises on related matters for M&A, IPOs and other transactions. She joined from Goodwin Procter and formerly served as in-house counsel at Uber.
